And when do you need emergency relocation?
Rehousing is a solution where you are given access to a temporary home while your own is being repaired. This can happen in the event of extensive damage caused by water, fire or mold, or if your home is undergoing a major renovation. Whatever the reason, the need for rehousing is often urgent and requires a solution that matches your unique needs.
Typically, you will have already been in contact with your insurance company, who will have assessed that you need temporary rehousing before you contact Easy Housing.
If you live in a house or townhouse, you are typically covered by your home insurance, and if you live in an apartment, your contents insurance will cover your rehousing. In some cases, your property insurance may also cover the costs of repairing your home and your rehousing.
Your assessor will inform you of your rights and make the final decision regarding the need for rehousing and the costs associated with your temporary accommodation.

For families with children under the age of 2, we offer a baby cot, changing table and high chair. Many of our homes are pet-friendly, so dogs, cats and small pets are welcome. We also prioritize accessibility and offer disabled-friendly accommodation on the ground floor or with an elevator.
How rehousing works with Easy Housing
Easy and fast process
1. NEED FOR REHOUSING
The home is damaged by water, fire or other causes - and is uninhabitable.
2. REHOUSING IS AUTHORIZED
Your insurance company may refer you directly to Easy Housing or another provider. They may also ask you to find temporary accommodation yourself. Contact us and we'll help. If it's outside our opening hours, send us an email. We respond quickly to urgent requests.
3. NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND HOUSING MATCH
Easy Housing will find a home that suits your needs.
4. CONTRACT
We quickly draw up a rental contract for you to sign and return. We will then invoice your insurance company.
5. CONTRIBUTION
You will receive a welcome email with general information and we will arrange a time to pick up your keys.
6. ONGOING SUPPORT
Our team is available to handle any questions or challenges throughout the rental period.
7. TERMINATION.
As soon as you know when your own home is repaired, you terminate the rehousing accommodation. There is only a 14-day notice period.
8. REMOVAL
When moving out is approaching, we will send a move-out email informing you of the move-out and arrange a time to return the keys.

IS A TV PACKAGE INCLUDED IN THE ACCOMMODATION?
Uh, no. There is no TV package. But there is a smart TV, Wi-Fi and free Google TV and Chromecast on loan. Simply log in to your streaming services when you arrive.
WHAT DOES A BABY PACKAGE CONSIST OF?
In connection with rehousing in case of fire etc. you can purchase a baby package, which consists of a baby bed, high chair and changing station. The baby package is suitable for children between 0-2 years.
DO I NEED TO BUY MY OWN FURNITURE AND KITCHEN EQUIPMENT?
Description. The accommodation is furnished and contains standard kitchen equipment and tableware.
