The process

The process for emergency relocation

Leaving your home in an emergency and moving temporarily is tough. But we always aim to make your insurance claim relocation as hassle-free as possible. That's why the process is designed to be simple and efficient, so you can get the help you need, when you need it. If you have any doubts about relocation and insurance, we're here to help.

Easy and fast process

1. NEED FOR REHOUSING

The home is damaged by water, fire or other causes - and is uninhabitable.

2. REHOUSING IS AUTHORIZED

Your insurance company may refer you directly to Easy Housing or another provider. They may also ask you to find temporary accommodation yourself. Contact us and we'll help. If it's outside our opening hours, send us an email. We respond quickly to urgent requests.

3. NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND HOUSING MATCH

Easy Housing will find a home that suits your needs.

4. CONTRACT

We quickly draw up a rental contract for you to sign and return. We will then invoice your insurance company.

5. CONTRIBUTION

You will receive a welcome email with general information and we will arrange a time to pick up your keys.

6. ONGOING SUPPORT

Our team is available to handle any questions or challenges throughout the rental period.

7. TERMINATION.

As soon as you know when your own home is repaired, you terminate the rehousing accommodation. There is only a 14-day notice period.

8. REMOVAL

When moving out is approaching, we will send a move-out email informing you of the move-out and arrange a time to return the keys.

The policyholder rehousing process - Does your policyholder need to be rehoused?

Easy and convenient process for both insurer and policyholder

1. THE CLAIM IS REPORTED BY THE POLICYHOLDER

The home is damaged by water, fire or other causes - and is uninhabitable.

2. REHOUSING IS AUTHORIZED

Often the assessor will contact Easy Housing or another supplier. Whatever the circumstances, it is optimal that we also contact the policyholder at the beginning of the process.

3. NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND HOUSING MATCH

Easy Housing gets in touch with the policyholder. We have extensive experience in clarifying the policyholder's needs. We know what to ask. Once the right accommodation is found, it must be approved by the insurance company.

4. CONTRACT

We quickly draw up a rental contract for the new resident to sign and return. We then invoice the insurance company.

5. CONTRIBUTION

We ensure a quick and smooth move-in.

6. ONGOING SUPPORT

If any challenges arise in connection with the relocation home, we handle the contact directly with the policyholder.

7. TERMINATION.

As soon as the policyholder's home has been repaired, the rehousing accommodation is terminated in writing. It is important that both the insurance company and the policyholder agree on when the home will be vacated. There is a 14-day notice period.

8. REMOVAL

Once the notice has been received, we will send a move-out email informing you about the practicalities of moving out.

The Expat Housing process - a good start to a new life

We know that moving to a new country can be overwhelming and that your company wants the best start for your employees' new life in Denmark. That's why we've created a simple and efficient expat rental process that typically looks like this:

Easy and convenient process

1. REQUEST FROM COMPANY

Your company contacts us directly, unless you have outsourced the task to a relocation agent. We work with several relocation companies.

2. BOLIGMATCH

Together with the company, we map out what requirements, needs and preferences the home should meet.

We match the employee with one or more of our move-in ready homes that meet needs such as number of bedrooms, location, access to public transportation, accessibility and more. You present the suggestions to the employee who selects the best match. If not in the first round, then in the second.

3. CONTRACT AND INVOICING

We quickly prepare a contract to be returned with a signature from the expat employee. We also create a Housing Confirmationwhich documents that the employee has a valid address for their stay in Denmark.

Your company is the formal tenant and we send a single invoice for the entire period.

4. WELCOME LETTER

Before moving in, we send a welcome letter with general information and key handover instructions.

5. CONTRIBUTION

Both personal key handover and contactless key collection are available around the clock.

6. ONGOING SUPPORT

Our team is available to handle any practical challenges or questions that your expat may have. We are used to working with people from all over the world.

7. REMOVAL

When relocation is approaching, we contact the expatemployee and agree how the key handover will take place.
